This intensive training program focused on the principles of Industrial Product Design and the complete product development process, from concept generation to prototype creation. The course explored design methodologies with a strong emphasis on functionality, ergonomics, material selection, and manufacturing processes.

Throughout the program, I gained hands-on experience with CAD modeling and rapid prototyping technologies, including 3D printing and laser cutting, applying these tools to develop functional concepts and physical prototypes while refining my product development and design skills.

My experience

Engineer for Physis PEB in Structures Unit

march 2026 - may 2026

Stage

Politecnico di Milano

Logo Physis PEB

I contributed to the design and development of the structural support system for solar panels integrated into the Physis PEB electric racing catamaran, as part of a multidisciplinary engineering team focused on sustainable mobility and high-performance marine applications.

During the internship, I was involved in the complete product development process, from concept generation and design evaluation to the definition of the final engineering solution. My responsibilities included parametric CAD modeling, the assessment of multiple design concepts, structural sizing through Finite Element Analysis (FEM), and aerodynamic load evaluation using Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) simulations. I also designed components intended for additive manufacturing, with a strong focus on lightweight design, structural performance, manufacturability, and seamless integration with the vessel.

This experience strengthened my skills in mechanical design, numerical simulation, engineering analysis, and product development while working in a collaborative and multidisciplinary environment.

Lead Editor-in-Chief of iThink Magazine

september 2022 - june 2022

Istituto Massimiliano Massimo in Rome

My experience at iThink Magazine began in Visual Design, where I was responsible for designing and maintaining the magazine's visual identity and graphic layout. As my responsibilities grew, I was appointed Editorial Director.

In this role, I coordinated the editorial team, streamlined internal collaboration, and contributed to defining a more consistent and recognizable editorial and visual identity for the magazine. I also worked on improving the publication workflow, ensuring greater consistency in both content and design across each issue.

Alongside the editorial work, I promoted wider student participation by involving contributors from different areas of the school and encouraging them to share ideas, perspectives, and original content. This experience strengthened my leadership, communication, and project management skills while working in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.

Young Apprenticeship with BCG

september 2019 - june 2020

Boston Consulting Group

I participated in a business competition involving multiple project phases, working in a team of seven members supported by two Boston Consulting Group (BCG) consultants. The project focused on analyzing real companies and developing a complete business plan for a start-up from concept to final presentation.

Alongside the strategic and analytical activities, I was responsible for the visual design and layout of the team's presentations, ensuring that analyses and recommendations were communicated in a clear, consistent, and professional manner.

This experience strengthened my teamwork, leadership, and communication skills while providing valuable exposure to business strategy, financial analysis, and business planning. It also gave me the opportunity to work in a structured, consulting-oriented environment, balancing analytical thinking with effective visual communication.

Historical Scientific Instruments Cataloguing
(Lab2Go Project)

october 2020 - march 2021

Istituto Massimiliano Massimo Università La Sapienza

Logo La Sapienza Università di Roma

I contributed to the cataloguing of historical scientific instruments as part of the Lab2Go – Scientific Museums project, following documentation standards specifically developed for museum collections and distinct from those adopted within the Lab2Go Physics framework.

Working under the guidance of the project coordinators and research fellows, I reviewed and updated instrument records to ensure compliance with scientific museum cataloguing standards. My responsibilities included improving technical descriptions, distinguishing the physical characteristics of each instrument from its operating principles, and integrating historical and scientific information whenever available.

I also reorganized the digital catalogue within the Lab2Go platform, adapted multimedia content to the required formats, and verified the final documentation according to the validation criteria established by the Scientific Museums team.

This experience strengthened my skills in scientific documentation, technical writing, historical research, data organization, and collaborative work within a structured academic project.
